At the B1 level, candidates should be able to communicate confidently in everyday situations and produce simple, coherent spoken statements in Polish. The exam consists of three tasks: describing a picture, giving a short monologue on a given topic, and taking part in a communicative dialogue. Assessment is based on communicative effectiveness, fluency, grammatical accuracy, and the ability to respond appropriately to the interlocutor. Minor language mistakes are acceptable as long as they do not hinder communication.
