At the B1 level, candidates should be able to clearly and coherently formulate written texts in Polish. In this part of the exam, one task set must be chosen and the texts written according to the instructions. The topics do not require specialist knowledge, as the main focus is on assessing written communication skills. The set includes a short functional form (e.g. wishes, greetings) and a longer text, such as a letter or a report. Each text must meet the required word count and be appropriate to the communicative situation.
